Saskatoon police are hunting for a suspect involved in a Friday evening armed robbery at a pharmacy in the Stonebridge neighbourhood of Saskatoon.
Officers were called to a business in the 3200 block of Preston Avenue South just before 6:30 p.m.
Staff said a man in his 20s, armed with a sawed off rifle, demanded cash and narcotics. No shots were fired and no one was hurt.
The suspect is described as Caucasian with longer blonde hair and a scruffy face. He was wearing sunglasses and a leather hat with a silver “C” chain pattern on it.
The man left the scene in a red, two-door car, possibly an early 2000s Chevrolet.
