Saskatoon police are investigating an early-morning suspicious car fire following an explosion inside the vehicle.
The Saskatoon Fire Department was called to a burning car at 317 Avenue J North just before 4 a.m. They had just started to put out the fire when a small explosion went off inside the car on the passenger side.
No one was hurt during the incident. Police were called to investigate while a fire investigator determined the cause of the fire was deliberately set with an incendiary device.
Damage is estimated at $10,000.
