19-year-old welder found dead after workplace explosion in Kinistino

A 19-year-old man is dead after a welding explosion.

RCMP from Melfort were called to a business two kilometres south of Kinistino Tuesday afternoon for reports of gunshots on the property. When officers arrived, they discovered that there had been an explosion.

A 19-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene from injuries he received while welding. The name of the man is not being released.

An autopsy is scheduled for later this week.
