A small plane had to make an emergency landing near Martensville late Friday afternoon.
It appears the pilot suffered some mechanical trouble shortly after take off. The pilot had to touch down in a field near Highway 12, just missing some power lines.
The pilot is okay and the plane stayed intact. RCMP closed one southbound lane of Highway 12 on Friday evening.
The Transportation Safety Board will be investigating.
