The “bell tolls” for metal fans across Saskatchewan on Monday after Metallica announced a concert date for Saskatoon.
One of the most popular metal bands of all time will be hitting the stage at SaskTel Centre in Saskatoon on Saturday, Sept. 15.
The concert is part of the band’s World Wired Tour. It’s one of two Canadian stops announced so far on this leg of the world tour — the other concert is set for Winnipeg Sept. 13.
It will be the first concert date in Saskatchewan for Metallica since 2004.
Tickets go on sale on Friday, March 2 at 10 a.m.
