Residents in the Normanview area may have noticed a heavy police presence on Friday.
The SWAT unit, along with the drug unit, street gang unit and the K9 unit were called to the areas of Atchison Crescent and Centennial Street to issue warrants at two separate addresses.
Several individuals were arrested and drugs, Canadian currency and firearms were seized.
The investigation continues.
