A Regina man is facing charges after an armed robbery.
Police responded to a robbery in the 5000 block of 4th Avenue on Saturday at around 12:45 p.m.
A man was walking down a back alley in the area when the suspect approached him and demanded money and cigarettes.
When the victim refused, the suspect brought out a knife and again demanded the victim turn over his money.
The victim was able to get away unharmed, with his property, and called police.
After a quick search of the area, the 26-year-old suspect was found and arrested.
The man was charged with armed robbery and carrying a concealed weapon.
He makes his first court appearance on Monday in Regina.
