One man is dead after RCMP said he was hit by a truck on Highway 1 west of Regina Monday afternoon.
Mounties said it happened around 4:30 p.m. two kilometres west of the Pense turn off. The collision involved a white pickup truck traveling eastbound and a man who was near a parked truck that was towing a boat.
Traffic was detoured for several hours Monday night as a collision re-constructionist investigated the scene of the crash.
RCMP are asking anyone in either the westbound or eastbound lanes that might have been traveling in the area or who witnessed the crash to contact them.
