3 in hospital after collision involving semi in Saskatoon

Three young adults are recovering in hospital after their car collided with a semi early Saturday.
 
Two men and a woman were in a half ton truck that collided with a semi-trailer at the intersection of Circle Drive and 22nd Street around 1:35 a.m.
 
Rescue crews used hydraulic spreaders to break open the door of the vehicle.
 
Firefighters stabilized the people in the car at the scene before they were taken to hospital with unknown injuries. The driver of the semi wasn’t hurt.
