People fueling up their vehicles in Regina Thursday helped make a big donation to the Z99 Radiothon.
For one day only, 20 cents of every litre bought at Sherwood Co-op gas stations went towards the fundraiser which benefits the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) of the Regina General Hospital.
On Friday morning, Z99 announced that the money raised – along with additions from Sherwood Co-op and the Co-op Refinery – totaled $70,000.
Co-op says 348,000 litres of fuel were bought on Thursday.
The Z99 Radiothon takes place March 17 and 18 from the Cornwall Centre.
