White Butte RCMP have charged a 24-year-old Cupar man with impaired driving after a man was hit on Highway 1.
RCMP responded to a call around 3:30 a.m. about a pedestrian being hit in the eastbound lanes of the highway at White City.
A 25-year-old man from Regina was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officers arrested and charged Mathew Scott with two charges including impaired driving causing death.
Scott will appear in court on Monday.
The investigation is ongoing.
