RCMP looking for suspicious man who approached a young girl

Carlyle RCMP is asking for help in locating a suspicious man who approached a young girl on Main Street in Carlyle.

On Wednesday at around 5:45 p.m., RCMP responded to reports of a man in a dirty green and brown pickup truck who had approached an 11-year-old girl.

The girl was walking alone when the man approached and asked her if she would like a ride.

She was able to run to a friend’s house and the man drove off.

There’s no description of the driver at this time.
