Regina police are asking for help with information after a man turned up at a hospital with injuries from an assault.
Around 10:30 p.m. Saturday police were called to a hospital after a man came in for treatment for injuries consistent with an assault by a bladed weapon like a knife.
The investigation revealed he was attacked by lone suspect with a machete sometime around 10 p.m.
According to police, it happened in the 3300 block of 8th Avenue in Regina, near Dewdney Pool Park.
Police continue to look for the suspect who is believed to be a man.
