Environment Canada has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for areas around Carlyle, Carnduff, Estevan and Weyburn
A storm is moving up from eastern Montana and North Dakota and pushing itself into southeastern Saskatchewan.
These areas could see up to 70 millimetres — or almost 3 inches — of rain along with high winds and golf ball sized hail.
The storm is expected to taper off overnight.
