A man is dead after hitting a horse while driving his ATV.
RCMP responded to a call shortly after 10:30 p.m. about the fatal crash on the Kawacatoose First Nations, located about 10 kilometres northwest of Punnichy.
Police said their investigation determined the 37-year-old had been travelling westbound on his ATV when he hit the horse. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The horse involved suffered injuries as a result of the crash and was euthanized by police.
The investigation into the collision is ongoing.
