Environment Canada has issued a weather statement about the possible development of funnel clouds.
The advisory said conditions are favourable for the development of funnel clouds in the southwest part of Saskatchewan.
According to the advisory, these clouds typically are not dangerous but could become a weak landspout tornado if rotations intensify.
Funnel cloud sightings should be reported to Environment Canada by email or by tweeting with the hashtag SKStorm.
