For the second time in as many days, a home caught fire in North Central.
Fire crews responded at around 10 a.m. to a two-storey house fire in the 1500 block of Robinson Street, between Dewdney and Mosaic Stadium. Smoke and flames were showing on the outside of the house on the siding.
Firefighters were quickly able to get the blaze under control, but not before significant damage was done. Nobody was inside at the time.
An investigator is on scene trying to determine a cause.
This follows another fire just a few blocks away on Garnet Street Monday morning. Two people managed to escape to safety in that incident.
