A large fire has forced a partial closure of Highway 1 between Moosomin and the Manitoba border.
According to Highway Hotline, a grass fire was sparked by a train.
Moosomin RCMP and the local fire department battled the large fire along the south side of the highway late Wednesday afternoon.
RCMP have opened one lane eastbound from Moosomin.
Smoke from the fire is causing visibility issues with the blaze also destroying a number of structures.
The fire department has some areas under control but are working to get the whole fire under control.
