A Saskatchewan RCMP officer is suspended from duty following an assault this weekend.
Stony Rapids RCMP responded to a call at a home in Black Lake on Friday.
As a result of the investigation, Brendin Feere has been charged with assault, forcible confinement and overcoming resistance to commission of offence.
According to Mounties, Feere has been an RCMP officer for less than two years. He’s a constable at the Stony Rapids detachment.
Feere will appear in Black Lake court Sept. 19.
