One man was taken to hospital and two others arrested after a snowmobile crash east of Punnichy on Thursday.
According to the RCMP, they were called out to the Day Star First Nation around 9:20 p.m. Officers said there were friends and family gathered around to help the hurt 27-year-old man. The man was taken to hospital with injuries described as “non-life threatening”.
At the scene of the crash, two men were arrested and charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle – a 27-year-old man from the Day Star First Nation, and a 41-year-old man from Wynyard.
