Downed power pole causes Hwy 1 delays near Herbert

Drivers are being asked to avoid Highway 1 near Herbert Sunday evening.

RCMP said a vehicle lost control and hit a power pole, leaving a live line across the highway.

SaskPower has been contacted.

There is no estimate on how long the repairs will take.

Around 5 p.m., Mounties said traffic was backed up and blocked in both directions.
