A suspicious item forced people inside a Ponteix business to evacuate Saturday morning.
RCMP responded around 10 a.m. and called in the provincial RCMP Explosive Disposal Unit to assist.
Investigators determined the item was not dangerous and no other suspicious items were found in the business or nearby.
RCMP continue to investigate the origin and nature of the item.
