The Saskatoon Police Service is now investigating the city’s fourth homicide of the year.
Investigators spent most of the day Saturday combing the parking lot of the Canarama Shopping Centre in River Heights for evidence.
It was earlier in the morning that officers received a report that someone had been stabbed outside the Fox and Hounds Pub and Brewery.
Two men, ages 18 and 22, were rushed to the hospital. The 18-year-old was later released, but the 22-year-old passed away from his injuries.
So far, no arrests have been made. But investigators were able to track down a vehicle of interest that had left the scene.
The incident remains under investigation and an autopsy will take place sometime next week.
Anyone with information related to this incident is asked to call the Saskatoon Police Service at 306-975-8300 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
