RCMP conduct search at a residence in Webb, Sask.

Swift Current RCMP have provided an update about a large police presence in southwest Saskatchewan.

RCMP confirm a search was conducted at a residence in Webb — 35 kilometres west of Swift Current — between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. Friday. The Emergency Response Team (ERT) assisted the Swift Current General Investigation Unit (GIS) as an additional safety precaution.

RCMP said there are no public safety concerns.

RCMP are not releasing any other details. The investigation is continuing.
