It’s a windy day in southwest Saskatchewan.
Environment Canada has issued a wind warning for areas stretching from the Cypress Hills and through areas to the east including Shaunavon, Assiniboia and Coronach.
A cold front from Alberta will blow through bringing winds gusting to 70 or 80 kilometres per hour. Some areas could experience wind gusts up to 90 kilometres per hour.
Environment Canada expected the wind to weaken late in the day as the cold front moves into Manitoba.
