A rollover east of Fort Qu’Appelle Sunday morning claimed the life of a 70-year-old woman.
RCMP said the vehicle hit the ditch on Highway 22 just north of Abernathy around 9:15 a.m. The driver was thrown from the vehicle and died on scene, while the vehicle caught fire and was destroyed.
The driver is from the Peepeekeesis First Nation.
Traffic restrictions in the area were lifted as of 4 p.m.
