Two people were sent to hospital Monday after a car and an SUV crashed at Highway 11 and Wanuskewin Road.
Fire crews were called to the scene just after 3:30 p.m. One of the vehicles contained a mother and her child. The child was uninjured, but the mother suffered undetermined injuries. The driver of the other vehicle was also transported to hospital with undetermined injuries.
This same intersection has seen many serious, and often fatal collisions over the years.
It was briefly closed Monday while tow trucks, paramedics and fire crews cleared the scene.
