Man hit by vehicle, killed on Big River First Nation

A man is dead after being hit by a vehicle on the Big River First Nation, northwest of Prince Albert.

The RCMP say officers were called out to the First Nation around 10:30 p.m. on Sunday night for a report of a man being hit by a vehicle.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say the vehicle that was involved in the crash left the scene.

RCMP didn’t share any more details, saying more would be provided when information became available.
