A 78-year-old man has died of his injuries after a collision this week.
He was crossing Central Avenue at 109th Street on a motorized medi-chair when he was struck by a vehicle on Wednesday.
At the time, he was taken to hospital with what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries. A 33-year-old woman was charged with failing to yield.
On Friday, police reported that the man’s condition worsened, and he died in hospital.
