Police are asking for help to find a man they consider a suspect in a stabbing on a Sask. First Nation over the weekend .
RCMP are actively looking for Nakota Rayne Pooyak, who is wanted for aggravated assault.
On Saturday, STARS ambulance rushed a 23-year-old man to hospital after a stabbing on the Little Pine First Nation, west of the Battlefords.
RCMP were called to the community around 4 a.m. after receiving a complaint about an assault at a gathering in a rural area.
They found a 23-year-old man suffering from multiple stab wounds.
Police describe Nakota Pooyak as six feet tall and 180 pounds.
Pooyak is considered armed and dangerous; members of the public are warned not to approach him and call police immediately.
