Traffic is detoured along Highway 1 at Belle Plaine after what White Butte RCMP call “a serious crash” Saturday afternoon.
Vehicles were re-routed along the north service road, near the Shell gas station, as crews investigated the scene.
Drivers passing by tell 980 CJME it appeared at least two vehicles were involved in the crash.
By 7 p.m., half a dozen emergency vehicles were still at the scene investigating.
RCMP expect traffic to be detoured for most of the evening.
