Meadow Lake RCMP have charged a 17-year-old boy with attempted murder following a stabbing on the Waterhen Lake First Nation.
The victim was a 21-year-old man who was stabbed several times in the back. He was taken to Meadow Lake Hospital, stabilized and sent to Saskatoon for more treatment.
The 17 year old was also charged with aggravated assault and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
Police also charged a 16 year old boy — also from the Waterhen Lake First Nation — with failing to comply with a probation order.
The two will appear in Meadow Lake provincial court on Monday.
