SaskTel announced Thursday that it plans to move to a paperless billing system.
Starting in late March, customers with access to the Internet will be able to see their monthly bills online.
Customers who don’t have the Internet or who get business services from SaskTel won’t be moved to the new system. As well, those who want to continue receiving paper versions of their bills can get that option.
SaskTel said it uses more than 36 million pieces of paper to send out its bills each year.
