The City of Regina has started the process of finding a contractor to fill the Capital Pointe hole if Westgate Properties doesn’t do so.
The City has started a public procurement process to continue the work of filling the hole located at the corner of Victoria Avenue and Albert Street.
The move is being done in case Westgate Properties does not comply with the order that was upheld by the Saskatchewan Building and Accessibility Standards Appeal Board.
Westgate Properties has until March 30 before the city will become authorized to take action on the developer’s behalf. Westgate had 30 days after the decision to appeal the ruling.
