The City of Regina’s joining in on the Toronto Raptors fever by showing the NBA Finals on one of the biggest screens in the Prairies.
On Friday afternoon, the city announced plans to show any potential championship-clinching game on the Mosaic Stadium MaxTron.
Admission will be free and concessions will be open.
The Raptors lead the Golden State Warriors 3-1 in the best-of-seven series after posting a 105-92 victory Friday in Oakland. A viewing party for that game was held in Regina’s City Square Plaza.
Toronto is to play host to the Warriors on Monday with a chance to end the series. The game is to start at 7 p.m., Regina time.
