A head-on crash on Highway 39 has left a 12-year-old boy dead.
RCMP say a semi and minivan crashed just east of Wilcox Saturday at 7 a.m.
The boy was a passenger in the van, he died at the scene. Six others ranging in age from 12 to 37 were flown to hospital by STARS air ambulance with injuries described as undetermined. Police say all the people inside the van were from Ontario.
The 57-year-old driver of the semi is fine.
RCMP investigators are trying to figure out a cause.
