A 25-year-old woman was airlifted to hospital in Regina after a stabbing in Estevan on Tuesday night.
According to a media release from the Estevan Police Service, officers were dispatched just after 9:30 p.m., to a call of a disturbance in the south end of the city.
When they arrived, the officers found a woman outside the house who had been stabbed. She was taken to hospital in Estevan before being airlifted to Regina for further treatment.
Police say she’s in stable condition.
A 34-year-old male was found in the area a short time later and arrested. The police said he and the victim know each other.
The investigation is continuing.
