Two men from Regina are facing attempted murder charges after a shooting this past spring near the Victoria Square Mall.
Around 9:30 p.m. on March 15, police were called to the 2100 block of Quance Street East to find a man had been shot.
The 25-year-old was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
An investigation into this incident by the Regina police’s street gang unit led to the arrest of two men: Karl Lerat, 26, and Brandon Starblanket, 20.
Lerat was arrested on June 19 and Starblanket was arrested on Wednesday.
Both men are set to make their second provincial court appearances early next month.
