Regina police are investigating a string of shootings this weekend.
The worst happened around 1:20 a.m. Sunday. A man was shot outside a business in the 2100 block of Broad Street. He suffered life-threatening injuries.
Minutes later, around 1:30 a.m., officers were called to a drive-by shooting in the 700 block of Garnet Street, where shots were fired at two separate homes.
No one was hurt from the gunfire directed at the two homes; police believe the houses were empty at the time.
The rash of shootings began on Saturday night.
The first happened around 6 p.m. Police were called to a home in the 1600 block of Rae Street after reports of a firearm incident there. Officers cordoned off the area while they determined no one was injured inside the house.
Police are searching for a man linked to this incident; they say he’s known to the adult victim.
Hours later, around 9:25 p.m., police were called to the 700 block of Garnet Street after someone in a silver-coloured vehicle shot at a home. No one was hurt.
No arrests have been made, and police haven’t said whether any of the shootings are connected.
