Tuesday will be another day to keep an eye on the sky in Saskatchewan.
Environment Canada says a warm front from Alberta will bring the risk of thunderstorms to central Saskatchewan this afternoon.
“It will be a somewhat dynamic system,” said meteorologist Brad Vrolijk. “All of the storms today will likely pose a threat of large, damaging hail and severe wind gusts.
“There may also be a tornado threat with those storms. It’s certainly a threat people should be aware of today.”
Vrolijk said the area at the greatest risk of severe weather is between Lloydminster and Outlook, and down to Moose Jaw and Assiniboia.
Saskatoon and Regina both have a thunderstorm risk today, but are less likely to see the severe kind, said Vrolijk.
Storms will begin firing up early this afternoon along the Alberta border and continue into the evening as the system moves east.
