Anyone with a couple of hours to kill should read the lengthy rules about attending the Garth Brooks concerts at Mosaic Stadium.
Only clear, plastic bags are allowed. No purses. Cameras must have short lenses. Bus schedule details; parking restrictions and road closures. Still not sure if we can transfer tickets via TicketMaster. And absolutely no fireworks!
How can you have fun without your own fireworks? Just kidding. Most of the restrictions are understandable. But there sure are lots of them. Garth will provide the entertainment. Judging by his 1991 appearance at Craven and the six shows he detonated three years ago in Saskatoon, he’s going to rock the stadium.
See what happens when communities build sports facilities? Mosaic isn’t for the exclusive use of the Saskatchewan Roughriders. SaskTel Centre is available for more than Saskatoon Blades games. And the Craven grandstand was built for rodeos and chuckwagon races.
Garth has places to play in Saskatchewan. And we have rules to follow.
