A crash between a semi and an SUV Thursday night has taken the lives of two people from the town of Grayson.
According to the RCMP, the crash happened around 5 p.m. on Highway 1 where it intersects with Highway 47 next to Grenfell.
Police said the SUV was heading north and the semi heading west when the collided.
The 76-year-old man and 74-year-old woman in the SUV were killed in the crash. The 22-year-old driver of the semi was fine.
That portion of the highway was closed for a portion of the evening as police investigated the crash – RCMP don’t believe alcohol was a factor.
