Environment Canada lifted its severe thunderstorm watches for parts of southern Saskatchewan late Saturday.
In an alert issued just after 11:30 p.m., the weather service said the storms were capable of producing “strong wind gusts, large hail and torrential rain.”
The watches were in effect for areas around Moosomin, Grenfell, Kipling, Wawota, Carlyle, Oxbow, Carnduff, Bienfait and Stoughton.
