A 33-year-old man is dead after he was hit by a car Saturday in a residential laneway on the Piapot First Nation.
The Southey RCMP said in a media release the man was found shortly before 2:20 p.m. and airlifted to hospital by STARS Air Ambulance. He was pronounced dead when he arrived at a hospital in Regina.
A 43-year-old woman was arrested at the scene, as investigators reconstructed the collision.
Police said the woman was arrested and charged with dangerous driving causing death, and criminal negligence causing death.
She was due to appear in Regina provincial court on Monday at 9:30 a.m.
