A combination of early drought-like conditions, then wet and stormy weather in the province continues to keep harvest running behind.
The latest crop report from Sask. Agriculture shows only six per cent of the crop has been combined compared to the five-year average of 16 per cent.
Harvest is most advanced in southern regions, with 12 per cent combined.
Rain caused some problems in a few areas this past week, with up to 130 millimetres reported in the Lipton area.
The majority of crop damage was from strong wind and hail.
