A Regina man is facing charges after allegedly stabbing a woman he knows in Saskatoon.
Police went to a home in the Silverwood Heights neighbourhood around 6:30 p.m. Thursday after getting a call from a 25-year-old woman who said she needed help.
Officers found the woman had been stabbed numerous times. Police believe she will survive her injuries.
A 28-year-old man from Regina was arrested and charged with aggravated assaulted.
Officers said the man and woman are known to each other.
He’s expected to appear in court on Friday morning.
