On Monday afternoon, Regina police raided four different unregulated pot shops in the city, issuing all of them fines and charging their employees.
An emailed media release from police said the raids happened at 4 p.m. at the following locations: 1400 block of Scarth Street, 2800 block of Saskatchewan Drive, 2400 block of Dewdney Avenue and 1500 block of 11th Avenue.
Police members and members from the Safer Communities and Neighbourhoods (SCAN) did the raids.
They found and seized “illicit cannabis, cannabis products (such as oil, candy, cream, edibles), along with cash and documents related to the sale of illicit cannabis,” the release said.
Police laid the charges using the Saskatchewan Cannabis Control Act.
