A 72-year-old man reported missing over the weekend was found dead in a publicly accessible area at Saskatoon’s Royal University Hospital on Tuesday, three days after he went missing.
Allan Landrie went missing from his home in the 2400 block of Louise Avenue sometime on Saturday and was spotted later that day entering Royal University Hospital.
The initial police news release said he was found deceased around 9 p.m. Tuesday in the 100 block of Hospital Drive.
In an email to 650 CKOM on Wednesday, the Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) confirmed Landrie was found in a accessible spot on the main floor of the hospital. The SHA would not confirm where the area was that Landrie was discovered.
His death is not considered suspicious.
