The Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation Unit (ICE) has charged a Regina man with five child porn offences following a series of complaints.
Since July, ICE received three complaints about child pornography images and videos on a popular social media application, a media release said.
On Wednesday, members of ICE– which includes investigators from the RCMP, Regina Police Service, Saskatoon Police Service and Prince Albert Police Service — searched a home in the Queen City.
Investigators found child porn on electronics and seized two computers, two cellphones and a tablet resulting in the arrest of Aaron Charles Campeau, 27.
Police charged Campeau with accessing, possessing and transmitting child pornography.
Campeau made his first court appearance on Thursday in Regina. He was released on numerous conditions with his next court appearance scheduled for Oct. 24.
