Bicycle owners who lost their rides could be getting a call from the Regina Police Service in the coming days.
On Wednesday, officers arrested a 40-year-old man who was in possession of 44 bikes that police believe were stolen. He also was in possession of a stolen motorcycle, a replica handgun and a sawed-off shotgun.
The items were found at a home on Richardson Crescent.
In a media release, police said they’ll contact bike owners “if their property has been recovered.”
The man faces six charges, including possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, possession of a prohibited firearm with ammunition, and possession of stolen property over $5,000.
He’s to appear in court on Nov. 28.
